Garrison Cemetery Association to meet April 3
The Annual meeting of the Garrison Cemetery Association will be held April 3rd at 2:00 PM at the Garrison Public Library. All Shareholders are invited to attend.
Community Book Club Saturday, April 12
This month the Community Book Club discussion will be from the book, "You are here" by David Nicholls. Join us for our monthly Community Book Club for adults. Have you ever wanted to learn to crochet? Join us April 5
Join us at the library for a lesson on crocheting! Steph Gibbs will be demonstrating a two-color granny square. All materials will be provided. The class will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at 9:00 a.m.We are located at 510 2nd Ave., in Vinton. Benton County Corn College Events
The Benton County Corn Growers will be hosting a "Corn College Program" this year. The purpose of the program is to connect and inform non-ag business professionals and community members about the corn industry. We hope to bridge the growing gap between the farm and the everyday consumer to create transparency behind what goes down on the farm to create the food and products we use every day. Iowa Project A.W.A.R.E. at the library on April 15
Randi Brodigan with Iowa Project A.W.A.R.E will be joining us at the library to share his experiences working on river cleanup in Iowa. This event is free and open to the public. We will meet on April 15, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. at the Library, 510 2nd Ave. Vinton, Iowa.

In April, the Vinton Public Library will hold an April Library Love Reading Challenge. Join our latest Beanstack reading challenge, 'April Library Love!" Sign up in the Beanstack app or pick up a paper log in the library. We have challenges for all ages. On Saturday, March 22, 2025, the Izaak Walton League will host a BB Shoot for all ages. Following a 30 minute safety lesson participants will be invited to join in the fun. The event will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the Izaak Walton location north of Vinton on Highway 150, at 5667 24th Ave. Dr.
